Neftchi played their first friendly match as part of their training camp in Turkey. Facing Qarabag, who are competing in the UEFA Champions League group stage, the Fergana side lost 5–0.
During the match, Islombek Ismoilov made his unofficial debut, but the more experienced Azerbaijani side looked superior. It became an important lesson for the team on how to compete against strong opponents.
Neftchi’s starting lineup featured Botirali Ergashev, Izzatillo Po‘latov, Anvar G‘ofurov, Muhsin Ubaydullayev, Ibrohimhalil Yo‘ldoshev, Ikrom Aliboyev, Jamshid Iskanderov, Abror Ismoilov, Alisher Odilov, Xurshid G‘iyosov and Nurbek Sansenbayev.
Coming off the bench were Akbar To‘rayev, Muhammadqodir Rasuljonov, Nurmuhammad Abdug‘aniyev, Azizbek Muratov, Azizbek Erimbetov, Yovan Jokich, Daler Tuxsanov, Farhod Sohibjonov, Mo‘minxon Bahodirxonov, Farrux Sayfiyev, Boyan Siger, Zoran Marushich and Jurani Ratino.
This match allowed the team to further improve tactics and teamwork during the training process. Overall, Neftchi’s first friendly in Turkey promises more encouraging and exciting results for fans.
