Forward Bobir Abdixoliqov, who played for Pakhtakor last season, shared with fans his decision and the reasons behind his return to Nasaf.
The 28-year-old player, a candidate for Uzbekistan’s national team, said: “Why did I return to Nasaf? Because this place is my second home. There were interesting offers from Arab clubs, but I wanted to defend Nasaf’s colors.”
In the new season, I intend to prove myself even more and deliver bright, impactful performances in the Super League. God willing, my goal is to play at the World Cup with the national team,” Bobir said.
For the record, Abdixoliqov featured in 10 matches last season and managed to score one goal. Now the player plans to show his best form and give fans new joyful moments.
Returning to Nasaf gives the footballer a chance to achieve not only personal, but also team goals. At the same time, the national team’s options to use him have expanded.
