Harry Kane scored against Wolfsburg over the weekend to reach the 20-goal mark in the current German league season. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
The English striker joined Bayern in the summer of 2023 and has since been scoring at least 20 Bundesliga goals in consecutive seasons. In his previous two seasons in Germany, Kane found the net 36 and 26 times respectively.
According to Goal, only one player had previously managed to score 20 or more goals in each of his first three Bundesliga seasons. Timo Konietzka achieved this feat 60 years ago.
Konietzka scored 20 goals in the 1963/1964 season, 22 in 1964/1965, and 26 in 1965/1966.
Timo Konietzka, the scorer of the first goal in Bundesliga history, died on March 12, 2012.
