"Neftchi" is making a tactical revolution before the new season

Fergana's Neftchi, as the reigning national champions, is actively preparing for new victories in Antalya, Turkey. The representatives, led by head coach Islam Ismailov, successfully completed the first stage of the training camp. The team is working not only to restore physical condition, but also to take on a completely new look in tactical terms.
From 5-3-2 to 4-3-3: Big change in pattern
According to Islam Ismailov, the main goal of the training camp in Antalya was to transfer the team from the more defensive 5-3-2 system, which has been used for the last three years, to an offensive 4-3-3 system. This is unexpected and interesting news for Uzbek football fans.
- Tactical update: The new style requires more mobility and creativity from players in attack.
- Preparation process: After a long break, the players return to their optimal form and master new tactical instructions.
Exam with Karabakh and international experience
During the training camp, the Fergana team played three friendly matches. The most important match took place against Azerbaijan's regular European Cup participant - "Karabakh" club.
- Lessons learned from the defeat: Although there were shortcomings in the game against a strong opponent, the coach said that such an experience was beneficial for the team.
- Winning streak: In the next two matches, "Neftchi" triumphed and began to show the first fruits of a new playing style. According to Ismailov, the goal was not to win, but to identify the shortcomings in the team.
European experts and scientific approach
In the second stage, which starts on January 24, "Neftchi" plans to use innovative methods. Specialists from Europe, specially invited to the team, will conduct modern tests to thoroughly analyze the physical and functional state of the players.
- Control matches: Five more friendly matches are planned as part of the second training camp.
- Goal: Improve the game style before the start of the season and form a well-organized team.
Islam Ismailov was pleased with his students' professional attitude towards training and noted that the team is working hard to defend the championship title.
In your opinion, how much will Neftchi's transition to the 4-3-3 system increase the team's attacking performance?
