Former Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne has returned to Italy after his spell in North America, where he played for Canada’s Toronto. However, upon coming home he was unable to immediately find a new team, and for now Insigne remains a free agent. This is reported by euro-football.ru reports .
Still, the 34-year-old footballer is working tirelessly to stay in shape. Judging by his social media posts, he is putting in serious gym sessions and captioned his latest photo with phrases meaning “I never give up” and “I always believe.”
To recall, Insigne played for Napoli from 2009 to 2022. He made 54 appearances for the Italy national team and became a European champion with the squad in 2021.
