Bayern Munich and Germany midfielder Joshua Kimmich shared his view on the possibility of boycotting the 2026 World Cup amid political decisions by the United States. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
The footballer stressed that he does not want to get involved in political debates on the matter. According to him, players’ statements on such topics do not significantly affect the situation, and in Germany there are people who understand these issues better than he does and they should be the ones to comment.
As a reminder, the next World Cup will be held in the summer in North America. The prestigious tournament will be hosted by three countries at once: the United States, Canada and Mexico.
