In the Premier League Round 18 match played on 27 December 2025 (Tashkent time), Chelsea lost 1–2 to Aston Villa. Despite video footage of the incident, the club and the association were unable to identify the offender. Chelsea ultimately admitted responsibility and paid a €173,000 fine.
