Goal ranking: Lionel Messi again takes first place in MLS

Before the new season, GOAL compiled its ranking of the top 25 strongest players in the MLS and once again gave the top spot to Lionel Messi. Thus, the Inter Miami leader retained his status as the main star in the league - there will be debates, but it can be said that the authors have no question left about who the leader is.
Thomas Müller took second place, and Son Heung-min placed third. The rating itself is fan-friendly: it's said that not only the "name" but also the form, impact, team contribution, and game weight were taken into account.
The top 10 list is as follows:
10. Sam Serridge (Nashville)
9. Sebastian Berhalter (Vancouver Whitecaps)
8. Christian Roldan (Seattle Sounders)
7. Evander (Cincinnati)
6. Denis Boisanga (Los Angeles FC)
5. Rodrigo De Paul (Inter Miami)
4. Anders Dreyer (San Diego)
3. Son Heung-min (Los Angeles FC)
2. Thomas Müller (Vancouver Whitecaps)
1. Lionel Messi (Inter Miami)
In short, the MLS will be very intense before this season: there are both "big names" in the top positions and new heroes who quickly shine in the league. But the inscription above the rating hasn't changed: as long as Messi exists, the question "Who's #1?" often remains the answer to itself.
