Capello explained the difference between Ronaldo and Messi

There are some debates in the world of football that never “go away”. No matter which star is more popular at a given time, people always come back to the same question: Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi? Now the “heavy artillery” - experienced coach Fabio Capello, who managed Real Madrid, Juventus and the Russian national team - has added his opinion to this debate.
The Italian specialist, being a guest on the “Hat-Trick” program on the ON Sport TV channel, openly spoke about the main difference between the two great players. Capello did not deny Ronaldo’s greatness - on the contrary, he emphasized his goal-scoring ability and physical fitness. But the most interesting thing is that he did not include the Portuguese star in the list of absolute geniuses, who are called "the chosen ones".
According to Capello, Cristiano is a phenomenal scorer, an incredibly strong athlete, a person who wrote history with his work on himself, discipline and passion. However, according to the coach, Ronaldo does not have the "spark of genius" that Messi, Diego Maradona and Ronaldo (the Brazilian) have - that rare, natural intuition and innate talent that makes him create miracles every minute on the field.
That is, Capello strongly emphasizes one thing: he does not consider Ronaldo inferior to anyone, but he is in a different category - a legend who has reached the top through hard work. Messi and the other two stars, in the coach's eyes, are separate phenomena at the level of "innate genius".
Of course, this is not the first time this has been said. Capello has previously ranked Messi's natural talent above Ronaldo's hard-earned achievements. But this latest statement is sure to once again "boil" social networks: some will support Capello, while others will object, saying that he is "underestimating the greatness built by hard work."
The truth is that these two stars conquered football in two different ways. One is through a style close to innate magic, and the other is through iron discipline, records and constant work. Deciding which one is "greater" depends on the taste of each fan.
The question is open: do you agree with Capello's opinion? Is Ronaldo really inferior to the "three geniuses" or is this just a harsh position to heat up the debate?
