Nottingham Forest, which is having a difficult season in the Premier League, has made another drastic decision: the club officially announced that it has dismissed Sean Dyche from the post of head coach. In short, the team's management did not wait for results - cooperation was terminated.
The last few rounds have been difficult for Forest. The team has not been able to taste victory in the last three matches in the Premier League: a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, a 1-3 defeat against Leeds, and a goalless draw with Wolverhampton - 0-0. When the third match in a row is a winless series, the club's management usually goes into "reaction mode" - and this time it was the same.
For information, Dyche has been at the helm of the team since October 2025. In total, he managed Forest in 25 matches, recording 10 wins, 5 draws and 10 losses. These statistics may not seem “bad”, but the situation in the tournament table says it all: the team is in 17th place with 27 points after 26 matches - that is, very close to the relegation zone.
The most interesting thing is that this is the third coaching change of the season for Forest. First, Nuno Espiritu Santo led the team, then Ange Postecoglou came, and now Dyche has left. If the third coach cannot “press the button” and immediately change the result, then the problem is not only with the coach - there are questions about the squad, psychology, internal environment and even the club's strategy.
The main question now is: who is next? Forest now needs points, not romance about the “style of play”. For the team in 17th place, every round is a final. The fans also understand: the most important thing at this time is order in defense, discipline on the field and not to break down in the last minutes.
