Persepolis suffered a surprise defeat at home: Sergeev scored

A big sensation was recorded in the 22nd round of the Iranian Pro League: "Persepolis" hosted "Kheibar" at their home ground, but the match ended unsuccessfully for the hosts. The match ended 1-2 in favor of the visitors, and Persepolis fans left the stadium in a gloomy mood.
Early in the game, Heybar began to disrupt the opponent's defense with quick attacks. The result didn't take long: in the 11th minute, Ehson Hussayni opened the scoring, putting the visitors ahead. Persepolis controlled the ball more, created chances, but lacked accuracy in the final shots.
In the second half, the tempo of the game increased even more. In the 59th minute, a particularly interesting incident occurred for our fans: Oston Urunov came off the bench and tried to add vitality to the team's attacks. At the same time, Igor Sergeev played the entire match from beginning to end.
In the 72nd minute, Haybar further strengthened their lead with a penalty: Ismail Boboyi accurately converted the 11-meter penalty, making the score 0:2. After this moment, "Persepolis" increased pressure, and in the final minutes, the team switched to "all or nothing" mode.
The hosts' only goal came at the end of the game. In the 89th minute, Igor Sergeev prevailed in the aerial battle and reduced the score with a header. However, it was too late to save Persepolis - they lacked both time and opportunity.
