Young Brazilian forward Endrick openly stated that an early "explosion" in football isn't always just about applause and pleasant moments. He admitted that the pressure and restrictions accompanying his fame were very severe after he moved to Real Madrid at the age of 16.
Currently, Endrick is playing for Lyon on loan until the end of the current season. And in France, he is showing himself on the field "with all his might," but the off-field part of life is not so simple.
"This is difficult. It's very difficult! Young people who think that fame brings only positive things are mistaken. For me, this is one of the worst things that can exist, because you have no personal life left. I hope that one day I will be able to enjoy life peacefully," Endrick told AS.
Interestingly, even in this process, which he calls "difficult" psychologically, there is a result from a football perspective: it was previously reported that Endrick was named the best player of January in the French championship. In his short time at Lyon, he scored 5 goals and provided 1 assist in 6 games - meaning he's doing his job without making too much talk on the field.
As for the market value, according to Transfermarkt, the Brazilian striker is valued at around €25 million. So, for Endrick, the current era is a two-front struggle: proving oneself on the field and saving one's life off the field.
The conclusion is one: fame is reality without filters. But from Endrick's words, one thing seems hopeful: he doesn't deny this weight, which means there's a high probability that he'll draw the right conclusions and turn out to be even stronger.
