In the second round of the Uzbekistan Super League, Andijan faced the first serious obstacle of the season, losing 1:2 to Qizilqum in Navoi. Jambuli Jigauri and Islom Kenjaboyev scored for the hosts, while Aleksandre Andronikashvili scored one goal for the visitors.

Babayan particularly emphasized one aspect: in his opinion, the team didn't look bad at all in attack; on the contrary, they created sufficiently dangerous situations. According to him, the opponent scored two goals with almost two accurate shots, and "Andijan" did not take full advantage of their chances. This difference became a decisive factor on the scoreboard.
The coach also openly stated that the team has not yet shown its best form. He had emphasized that the lineup and game content were not fully formed after the previous game, and he held the same view this time. Babayan says there is growth in some aspects, but the team is still in the exploration phase. So, he perceives the current defeat not only as a bitter result, but also as a lesson for further growth.
Samvel Babayan also apologized to the fans who had come a long way. He said that every defeat should be a lesson for the team, and the coaching staff will learn from these mistakes and try to eliminate the shortcomings as quickly as possible. These words indicate that there is not yet anxiety, but a spirit ready to work within "Andijan."
In short, "Andijan" returned without points this time, but one thing was clearly felt from Babayan's words: the team has not yet fully revealed itself, and he perceives this defeat as a necessary signal for the start of the season. Now the main question is one - can the "eagles" draw the right conclusions from this painful loss in subsequent races?
