Kamoliddin Tojiyev openly revealed Pakhtakor's plans after yesterday's victory

In the second round of the Uzbekistan Super League, Pakhtakor defeated Qo'qon-1912 2-1 away, securing their second victory of the season. The goals for the Lions were scored by Doston Hamdamov and Pyotr Pazhishek, while the hosts only managed one return goal from a penalty at the end of the match.
At the post-match press conference, Pakhtakor head coach Kamoliddin Tojiyev assessed the team's performance, noting that the victory wasn't easy. According to him, the team started the match well, and the ball control was mainly on Pakhtakor's side. However, there was a weakness in turning the opportunities created in the first half into goals. At the same time, the coach specifically noted that the opponent "Kokand-1912" also showed good resistance.
According to Tojiev, two changes after the break had a serious impact on the fate of the game. After substitutions made in the second half, Pakhtakor scored two goals and earned three points. So, the coach's decisions during the game were justified this time as well. Looking at the game's score, the two goalscorers - Hamdamov and Pajishek - played a decisive role in the second half.
At the press conference, Tojiyev was also asked about the goals scored by players who have been coming off the bench for two matches. The coach attributed this situation not to a specially planned pre-planned scheme, but to the game process and the players' physical preparedness. He said that he is being given time in stages, especially since the striker is not ready for the full 90 minutes yet. Speaking about Doston Hamdamov coming off the bench and scoring again, the coach added that he wants this tradition to continue.
Tojiyev also expressed his opinion about the young players. He said that Muhammadrasul Abdumajidov has been with the team for a long time, and the club knows his capabilities well. The coach didn't even hide the fact that he believes he could soon be in the national team's spotlight. Speaking about Rustam Turdimurodov, he said that he joined the team recently, but he believes that he will become stronger from game to game and bring great benefit to "Pakhtakor."
In short, one important conclusion follows from Kamoliddin Tojiyev's words: "Pakhtakor" is now working not only for results but also for the gradual proper formation of the team. There is victory, those who came off the bench are yielding results, and the youth are gaining confidence. This once again shows that the "Lions" entered the new season with serious goals.
