Holloway gave Oliveyra special recognition after the defeat

Max Holloway, who lost the BMF belt to Charles Oliveira, reacted calmly and respectfully to the situation in a post-fight interview. According to him, he and his team made a clear plan - to strike and stay in motion, maintain a high tempo, and keep the opponent under constant pressure.
However, Oliveyra's tactics and performance proved stronger that night. Holloway openly acknowledged this point: he didn't look for an "excuses" there, but rather emphasized that the opponent's plan worked better.
According to Max Holloway:
"Our plan was to strike and stay in action, but their plan turned out to be better. Charles Oliveira certainly deserves respect - he's a great fighter, and it's hard to imagine another BMF champion."
These words also allude to Holloway's character as an athlete: acknowledging the truth even when losing and showing respect to opponents is a champion's habit. At the same time, it's noticeable that his spirit of "it's not over yet for me" has also been preserved: this defeat doesn't break him, but can be a motivation for a stronger return.
In short, the BMF belt is now at Oliveira's. But Holloway's performance showed that there was a lesson and "classic" in the defeat too.
