In the 3rd round of the Uzbekistan Super League, a truly dramatic scene was observed in Tashkent: cold weather with snow, a difficult field, a fierce struggle, and an unexpected result. Pakhtakor hosted Navbahor, but the match ended in a convincing 2-0 victory for the Falcons in the capital for the first time in 31 years.
In the first half of the match, the teams acted cautiously. In snowy conditions, it wasn't easy to control the ball or attack quickly. "Pakhtakor" traditionally tried to maintain the tempo of the game, while "Navbahor" sought opportunities through disciplined defense and quick passes.
After the break, the situation changed dramatically. In the 47th minute, Katulondi Kati opened the scoring with his accurate and well-thought-out shot - 0:1. This goal added confidence to the Falcons and forced the Lions to take risks in attack.
The penalty in the 65th minute also had a significant impact on the match. Ruslanbek Jiyanov calmly executed the penalty for his team and brought the score to 0:2. After this moment, Navbahor managed to keep the game under control and bring the result to the end.
With this victory, Temur Kapadze's team reached 6 points. Interestingly, Pakhtakor currently has the same number of points - meaning the tournament is becoming even more exciting.
