This result not only reduced their chances in the tournament but also caused a new and unpleasant anti-record in the club's history.
According to Opta Sport statistics, for the first time in its history, the "Spurs" have lost six consecutive official matches across all competitions. Previously, the team had lost five games in the English Premier League, deeply disappointing their fans.
