In the race for the "Barcelona" presidency, candidate Victor Font has made a significant move by targeting Erling Haaland. Representatives of Font's team reportedly met with "Manchester City" executives in Madrid to discuss a potential transfer for the star striker. Reports Goal.com.

Despite the reported meeting between Font's sporting director Xavier Aguilar and "Manchester City" CEO Ferran Soriano, Haaland's camp has quickly dismissed the speculation. Rafaela Pimenta, the player's agent, stated that there has been no contact with the Spanish club regarding a transfer.
Pimenta emphasized that Haaland recently renewed his contract and remains extremely happy at "Manchester City". She clarified that with everything going well in England, there is currently no reason to discuss a move to "Barcelona" or any other team.
