Poland defeated Albania by a comeback to reach the final

The qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup in Europe are becoming increasingly interesting. The semi-final matches of the playoffs have concluded, with some teams securing a spot in the decisive final.
One of them was the Polish national team, which showed willpower in the match against Albania in front of their fans and won by comeback.
In the first half of the match, the visitors were more active and opened the scoring with a goal from Khodja in the 42nd minute. This situation put the Polish team under some pressure.
However, in the second half, the home team became a completely different team. The number of attacks increased, speed and aggression intensified. As a result, team leader Lewandowski equalized in the 63rd minute. This goal breathed new life into the game.
Soon after, in the 73rd minute, Zelinskiy put his team ahead with a precise shot. Thus, Poland secured a 2-1 lead, keeping the game under their control.
Although Albania tried to restore the score in the remaining minutes, the Polish defense played confidently and kept the victory.
Experts emphasize that Poland demonstrated character and a team spirit in this match. Especially the pressure and quick decisions in the second half decided the outcome.
