Khamzat Chimayev spoke openly about money, criticism, and fights

Known in the world of mixed martial arts for his determination and strong spirit, Khamzat Chimaev has once again come into the spotlight, this time for his views outside the octagon. He sincerely shared his thoughts about financial opportunities, helping society, and his attitude toward criticism.
According to the fighter, money for him is not just wealth, but a tool to benefit the people around him. “Money gives me the opportunity to help people. For example, I built a gym in my village. It cost about 600–700 thousand dollars. At the same time, if local residents need help or if someone is sick, I try to help as much as I can,” he said.
At the same time, Chimaev openly stated that he is indifferent to criticism about fighting too rarely. According to him, the comments of critics do not affect him at all: “If someone says I don’t fight often, I don’t care. I earn millions, while they just talk and don’t do anything in reality.”
It is worth noting that Chimaev is expected to return to the octagon soon. On May 10, in Newark, he will face American fighter Sean Strickland. This matchup is attracting significant interest from fans.
For reference, the famous fighter’s roots trace back to the Chechen Republic, to the village of Gvardiya. The social projects implemented there show that Chimaev is developing not only as an athlete but also as a socially responsible individual.
In short, for Chimaev, victory in the octagon and actions in life are the same — everything is proven not by words, but by deeds.
