Ahead of the second-leg match in the Champions League quarter-finals against Atletico, Barcelona head coach Hansi-Dieter Flick emphasized that the team must remain faithful to its playing style.
According to Flick, they aim to offer strong and organized resistance against the opponent. In his view, no miracle is needed for a big result — the main thing is for the team to fully express its football.
— “We don’t need a miracle, we just need to show our football. We are capable of doing it. We have enough opportunities,” said the coach.
Flick assessed Atletico as a high-level, experienced team, but also stressed that Barcelona is on the same level as them. He expressed confidence that the team will fight until the end and that the support of the fans will play a decisive role.
