Arne Slot responds sharply to question about PSG

Liverpool manager Arne Slot gave a sharp response to journalists regarding PSG's offensive efficiency ahead of their Champions League quarter-final second leg. After being presented with statistics on PSG's scoring consistency, Slot dismissed the data and emphasized that his team must play aggressively to overturn the deficit. Liverpool enters the match trailing 2-0 following the first leg, with the decisive game scheduled for April 14.
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot, ahead of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final second-leg match, responded to a question about PSG’s attacking strength and scoring efficiency.
He reacted to the statistics presented by journalists — according to which PSG failed to score in only 4 out of 45 matches — and continued the conversation in a rather sharp tone.
“Why are you trying to ruin my mood? We all know this very well. To go through to the next round, we need to show a completely different performance, and a match against the champion cannot be anything other than difficult. Even so, we must not lose our focus, we have to concentrate on our own game, play aggressively, and try to score the first goal — we know this,” Slot told L’Équipe.
It is worth reminding that the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final ended with a 2–0 victory for PSG. The return match will take place on April 14.
