One of the matches of the 8th round of the Uzbekistan Super League took place in the city of Termez. The local team Surkhon hosted Navoi's Qizilqum club on their home ground. As expected, the match was intense and uncompromising.
Both teams were active throughout the game, and the struggle on the field became fierce. Surkhon players sought to demonstrate an active performance in front of their fans, while Qizilqum tried to create dangerous situations through counter-attacks. However, for a long time, the score remained goalless.
The fate of the game was decided in the final minutes. In the 81st minute, Shahzod Rahmatullayev from the visiting side scored, becoming the author of the only goal of the match. This goal provided Qizilqum with three crucial points.
During the remaining time, Surkhon used all their opportunities to equalize. However, the visitors' solid defense and disciplined play helped preserve the score. As a result, the encounter ended 0:1 in favor of Qizilqum.
