Lewandowski begins transfer negotiations with Italian clubs

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has responded to rumors regarding the potential continuation of his career in Italy's Serie A. As the Polish footballer's contract with the Catalans approaches its end, Juventus and AC Milan have shown serious interest in him. During a charity stream, the striker stated that he would announce his decision regarding his future soon, according to a report by Goal.com.
Currently, the 37-year-old forward stands at a significant crossroads in his career. He has managed to score 17 goals across all competitions this season, 12 of which came in the Spanish championship. Nevertheless, the Barcelona management has yet to resolve the issue of further cooperation beyond June 30. Juventus has reportedly indicated a willingness to offer the player an annual salary of 6 million euros.

Speaking about his future plans, Lewandowski hinted at the possibility of choosing one of the Italian clubs. "You know, we will talk soon," the veteran striker replied briefly. At the same time, he firmly stated that he will not pursue coaching after retiring from his playing career. According to him, the work of a coach is very difficult and associated with immense pressure.
For the time being, the Polish star is fully focused on winning the Spanish title. Barcelona currently holds a 9-point lead over Real Madrid in the league table with six matches remaining in the season. If Lewandowski moves to Italy in the summer, winning the La Liga championship is expected to be a fitting conclusion to his tenure in Spain.
