World Championship kicks off in London: Uzbekistan will also participate

The World Team Table Tennis Championships officially kicks off today in London. In this prestigious competition, which will continue until May 10, representatives of Uzbekistan will participate alongside the world's strongest national teams and demonstrate their capabilities.
It is reported that both men's and women's national teams will defend the honor of our country. This competition offers not only a fight for medals but also an opportunity to gain experience on the world stage and rise to higher positions in the rankings.
The men's national team includes skilled athletes such as Shohruh Iskandarov, Sarvarbek Gʻulomov, Diyorbek Dilshodov, and Jamshid Rahimberganov. They are placed in Group 4, and their opponents include the national teams of Brazil, Hungary, and Puerto Rico.
Our team will begin the group stage on April 28 with a match against Hungary. The following day, they will test their strength against Puerto Rico, and on April 30, they will play against Brazil, considered one of the strongest opponents in the group. These matches will be of decisive importance for a playoff spot.
The women's national team is also ready for a worthy participation in the competition. The squad includes Arujan Kamalova, Asel Erkebayeva, and Adelina Hasanova. They will compete in Group 11 against the teams of Australia, Nigeria, and Wales.
Our women's team will also start the tournament on April 28 with a match against Australia. On April 29, a match against Wales will be held, and on May 1, the final group stage game against Nigeria will take place.
