Arsenal in Champions League final after 20-year wait

Arsenal have reached the Champions League final after a 20-year hiatus. A single goal in the semi-final second leg against Atletico Madrid secured a historic victory for the London club, according to Goal.com reports.

Following a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Bukayo Saka put his team ahead in the 45th minute, tapping in a rebound after Leandro Trossard's shot. Despite Diego Simeone's side attempting to maintain a disciplined defense, they could not stop the Arsenal attacks.

The team led by Mikel Arteta has reached the final of the prestigious tournament for the first time since 2006. Arsenal will now face either Bayern or PSG in the decisive match in Budapest on May 30.

Atletico Madrid missed the chance to reach the final for the third time in their history. Although the visitors tried to create dangerous counter-attacking opportunities, the Arsenal defense and goalkeeper remained solid to preserve the scoreline.
