Michael Owen: Liverpool should sign Jarrod Bowen to replace Mohamed Salah

Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has identified West Ham United forward Jarrod Bowen as the ideal replacement for Mohamed Salah following the Egyptian star's expected departure at the end of the season. The Merseyside club faces a challenge in strengthening their wing position, according to Goal.com reports.
Speaking on talkSPORT, the former player shared his thoughts: "I've told my friends, if I had the choice, I would sign Bowen. He is a fantastic player, West Ham fans value him highly, but if the team were to be relegated, he would be an ideal option for Liverpool."
Owen highlighted Jarrod Bowen's technical skills, his ability to play equally well with both feet, and his goal-scoring prowess. According to him, Arne Slot's Liverpool squad lacks a specialized forward capable of playing on the right wing like Salah.
The expert believes that despite heavy investment last year, Liverpool lacks a direct replacement for Salah. While they have talented players like Cody Gakpo, there is currently no one in the squad who can replicate the threat Salah provides on the right flank.
