Juventus abandons pursuit of Robert Lewandowski transfer

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski is nearing an exit from the club as a free agent this summer. Although his agent Pini Zahavi initially held talks with Italian clubs, the Juventus management has cooled interest in the transfer. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Turin club is hesitant to complete the deal due to the 37-year-old striker's high salary demands and age. The club is prioritizing financial stability and does not want to spend heavily on veteran players.
Lewandowski himself remains cryptic about his future. Despite his high efficiency this season (18 goals in 42 matches), a Milan club remains the primary contender to sign the Polish forward.
This decision at Juventus may also be linked to difficulties in negotiations regarding Dusan Vlahovic. With the club unable to agree on a contract extension for their own striker, adding another expensive player does not seem financially viable.
