The Uzbekistan national team is currently continuing its training camp at the National Football Center. One of the players called up, AGMK midfielder Nodirbek Abdurazzoqov, shared his thoughts on the atmosphere in the national team and his personal goals.
The player stated that receiving a call-up to the national team is a great honor and responsibility for him.
"First of all, hello to everyone. I was very happy to receive the call-up to the national team. The atmosphere in the team is excellent, as always. The guys are united, the mood is high, and everyone is working toward a common goal," said Abdurazzoqov.
The player noted that he has worked with national team head coach Fabio Cannavaro before and mentioned that he is learning a lot from the Italian specialist.
"I have worked with Fabio Cannavaro before. We are learning necessary aspects in training now as well. He is a very experienced coach, and you can see new things in every session," the player added.
Nodirbek Abdurazzoqov also spoke warmly about Uzbek football. He emphasized that the country has always produced strong players and that competition has never been low.
"Football in Uzbekistan has never been weak. Good and strong players have always emerged. I will also do my best to secure a spot in the final 26-man squad and take the pitch for the national team," he said.
The player emphasized that regardless of who plays, every footballer gives their all on the pitch.
"There is great competition in the national team. But I believe that whoever takes the field will give their all," said Abdurazzoqov.
He also touched upon the training sessions and discipline during the camp.
"Nutrition and the daily routine in the national team differ slightly from the club. But I always try to eat correctly. So far, there have been no problems in the camp," the player said.
Fans are already eagerly awaiting the final squad and the upcoming matches. The desire of young and talented players to prove themselves in the national team gives fans even more hope.
