Bayern Munich working on Dusan Vlahovic transfer

Bayern Munich has taken initial steps to sign Dusan Vlahovic to strengthen their attacking line. According to "Corriere dello Sport", representatives of the Munich club held a secret meeting with the Serbian striker's father. As Vlahovic's current contract with Juventus is nearing its end, he could leave the team as a free agent in the summer. This is reported by Goal.com .

Currently, negotiations between Juventus and the player have stalled over salary issues. While Vlahovic is demanding a salary of 12 million euros per year, the Turin club is proposing to cut that amount in half. For this reason, Bayern and Barcelona are closely monitoring the situation, as both teams are looking for new reinforcements for their center-forward position.

Bayern sporting director Max Eberl confirmed that Nicolas Jackson will leave the team once his loan spell ends. Therefore, the German club views Vlahovic as their primary target. However, the club management's policy of reducing the wage budget could be a major obstacle to completing this transfer.

If the Vlahovic transfer does not materialize, Bayern is also considering alternative options. Candidates include Newcastle United's Antony Gordon and Atalanta striker Charles De Ketelaere. Additionally, Vlahovic's physical condition following his injuries is an important factor for the club's medical staff.
