French football is not foreign to Davide Ancelotti. Between 2012 and 2013, he worked as a fitness coach under his father at PSG and speaks fluent French. This factor will help him adapt to the new environment more quickly. Previously, Davide gained experience as a head coach at the Brazilian club Botafogo.
The new coach faces serious tasks. He must prepare Lille for the Champions League matches in the 2026-27 season. He also aims to compete with PSG by working with talented players like Matias Fernandez-Pardo and strengthening the squad during the summer transfer window.
