Uzbek boxing master Lazizbek Mullojonov has secured another victory in professional boxing. Our 27-year-old compatriot stepped into the ring against Luis Jose Marin Garcia of Venezuela at a pro boxing event in Tashkent and won by stoppage.
After this victory, Mullojonov spoke about the long intervals between his professional boxing matches. He noted that in amateur boxing, competitions were held frequently, and the athlete was constantly in the ring. In professional boxing, the situation is different: opponent consent, negotiations, purses, and organizational matters are also of great importance.
"I missed boxing because the intervals between my professional fights have become long. In amateur boxing, competitions happened often. In professional boxing, there are opponent agreements and financial issues. It's a show, it's a business. It's a bit difficult in that regard. That's why I'm entering the ring missing boxing," said Mullojonov.
