Hojimirzayev's brace, Navbahor draw: Matchday 13 concludes
The 13th round of the Uzbekistan Super League concluded with unexpected results. While Anvarjon Hojimirzayev's brace secured a vital win for Dinamo, Navbahor failed to overcome Qizilqum at home.
The final matches of the round featured a red card, a last-minute goal, and two goals scored within four minutes. These results have intensified the battle in the middle of the table.
Hojimirzayev started the game with a goal
It took only two minutes to open the scoring in the match between Surkhon and Dinamo. Anvarjon Hojimirzayev found the back of the net early on, putting the Samarkand side in the lead.
In the second half, Dinamo found themselves in a difficult situation. In the 61st minute, Amadou Doumbouya was sent off, leaving the team to play the remainder of the match with ten men.
Despite this, Hojimirzayev scored again in the 77th minute to complete his brace — 0:2.
Surkhon only managed to reduce the deficit in the 90+3rd minute through a goal by Humoyun Sherbotayev.

After Doumbouya's dismissal, Surkhon had the opportunity to increase the pressure. However, Dinamo not only defended well but also scored a second goal despite being a man down.
