Adobe has released a beta version of Photoshop for Android, reports Rozetked.me. The app brings core desktop features to mobile, including layers, masks, selections, and adjustments, all optimized for touch input.
It also includes Firefly, Adobe’s generative AI, with Generative Fill — allowing users to add or transform objects directly in the image. Other tools available:
• Spot Healing Brush
• Automatic object selection
• Blending modes
• Exposure and color correction tools
The UI is styled like Photoshop Express, but integrates powerful features from the desktop version.
Photoshop for Android runs on Android 11 and above. Currently, all features are free and subscription-free. Adobe hasn’t specified when the app will exit beta or switch to a paid model. An iOS version is coming soon.
