The modern wireless earbuds market is becoming increasingly competitive. However, the undisputed leader in this segment remains unchanged — Apple continues to hold the top position.
According to the latest analyst reports, AirPods have been recognized as the most sold wireless earbud model globally. Apple controls nearly a quarter of this market — approximately 25 percent.
Moreover, by the end of 2025, Apple’s global market share is expected to reach 21 percent. This significant figure is attributed to the company's strengths in product design, quality control, and ecosystem integration.
In second place is Xiaomi, which has captured 8 percent of the global market. The Indian brand boAt is also continuing its growth: it is expected to reach a 5 percent share by the end of 2025.
The next positions belong to tech giants Samsung and JBL — each holding less than 5 percent of the market.
Forecasts indicate that the wireless earbuds industry will grow by an additional 3 percent by the end of 2025. Analysts believe this growth rate will continue at least through 2028.
Intensifying competition in the sector is expected to further fuel the battle over innovation, pricing strategies, and adapting to consumer demands. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
