Xiaomi President Lu Weibing announced that the brand's first-ever ear clip headphones are a major market success. According to him, the new device is being purchased by customers at a very rapid pace. This was reported by Ixbt.com reports .
The discussion concerns the Xiaomi Ear Clip Headphones model. These are the company's first open-type clip-on headphones, which attach directly to the ear cartilage without blocking the ear canal. This design allows the user to listen to music while remaining aware of ambient sounds.
The new gadget is dust and water-resistant and equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) features. Specifically, it has the capability to recognize and translate speech in 21 languages. Additionally, the device is fully compatible with the Apple ecosystem.
This marks Xiaomi's first attempt at entering the clip-on headphone segment. Previously, the brand was successfully developing in the TWS headphone market, and now it is expanding its product line with uniquely shaped devices.
