Elon Musk’s $1T compensation plan still under scrutiny

Tesla board chair Robyn Denholm described the ongoing debate around Elon Musk’s $1 trillion compensation package as “a little bit weird,” TechCrunch reported. She argued that Musk has delivered strong performance for the company over recent years.

The pay package was approved by Tesla shareholders in 2018. However, critics now argue that the amount is excessive and question whether it is truly fair.

Denholm emphasized that under Musk’s leadership, Tesla’s value has soared and he fully deserves the reward. The matter is currently under judicial review, with a final decision expected in the coming weeks.
