Man arrested over cyber-attack

In the United Kingdom, a man in his forties has been arrested in connection with a cyber-attack on airports. He is suspected of illegal computer use and was later released on bail.

The cyber-attack caused hundreds of flight delays at several European airports, including London Heathrow. Because the software failed during passenger check-in, staff had to use paper and pen.

Officials reported that the investigation is still ongoing. Attempts are being made to restore the company’s system, but flight disruptions continue.

Experts note that in such attacks, systems are often disabled and money is demanded. A sharp rise in cyber threats in the aviation sector has been recorded.
