The official activation of the Uzbek language for Google's advanced artificial intelligence system - Gemini marked a new stage for the country's digital sector. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Technologies.
An important discovery was made at the panel meeting "Leadership in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Strategy and Innovation" held in Tashkent. Marina Junich, head of government policy and cooperation with government agencies at Google Cloud, who was among the participants of the event, noted that Gemini has now begun working fully in the Uzbek language.
In his opinion, this step will radically develop the AI ecosystem in Uzbekistan and open up opportunities for local developers, startups, entrepreneurs, and the general public to use artificial intelligence in their native language. That is, now through Gemini, solutions in the fields of education, business, creativity, and services can become even more popular.
At the meeting, the country's efforts in the direction of digital transformation, global trends in artificial intelligence, and opportunities for international partnership were also discussed in detail.
It should be recalled that earlier, within the framework of cooperation between OpenAI and Uzbekistan, a plan was announced to introduce the ChatGPT EDU platform into the education system.
