Apple is blocking operations on Russian accounts due to sanctions

Apple has begun restricting purchases, subscriptions, and other transactions for the accounts of Russians whose data fully or partially coincides with the data of people on the US or other countries' sanctions lists. This was reported by the iPhones.ru portal.
The portal published a screenshot of Apple's notification stating that it is impossible to make purchases made from the account because its owner's data "completely or partially coincides with the data of one or more parties from the list of persons sanctioned by the US government or another government."
"Apple is obligated to do this to comply with existing legislative and regulatory acts," the company's statement said.
To unlock, you must provide a copy of your passport or any other state-issued ID card with a photo and visible date of birth.
According to iPhones.ru, the first such cases were recorded a few days ago. Now blocking is becoming more common.
