Siri issues hinder Apple device presentation

Apple has postponed the presentation of its new HomePod mini and Apple TV devices indefinitely. Initially, these gadgets were expected to be unveiled late last year, but plans have changed. Experts believe the main reason is technical flaws in the new version of the voice assistant, Siri. Reports wylsa.com.
The company is working to make Siri smarter and more user-friendly. Specifically, there are plans to use Google's Gemini technology to expand artificial intelligence capabilities. Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman notes that these updates could be introduced in September alongside iOS 26.5 or iOS 27. Therefore, we will have to wait until autumn for the new generation of HomePod and Apple TV.
As a reminder, Apple TV was last updated in 2022, and HomePod mini in 2020. Users are eagerly awaiting not only these devices but also the company's new smart home hub. So far, official Apple representatives have not disclosed specific dates for the launch of the new products.
