Entrepreneur Elon Musk has officially launched the "XChat" app, a separate communication tool for the "X" platform, on the "App Store". This program was created on the basis of the main social network and functions as an independent communication tool aimed at ensuring user privacy. The app fully synchronizes with existing "X" accounts and automatically forms lists of followers and friends after installation.
A unique aspect of the new system is that it does not require entering a phone number for registration. All correspondence and calls are protected by an "End-to-end" encryption system, and data is hidden even from platform employees. Users can protect their conversations using a special PIN code, as well as prohibit the interlocutor from taking screenshots or set an automatic deletion time for messages.
Through "XChat", it is possible to make high-quality audio and video calls and exchange large files. The app operates completely without ads and is said to be free from user-tracking algorithms. Currently, the program is only open for "iPhone" and "iPad" devices, while the "Android" version is expected to be released in the coming weeks. Through this step, Musk continues to expand his digital ecosystem.
