Although this processor is no longer officially considered the flagship due to the recent introduction of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition model, its gaming performance matches the top models. The price difference between the new model and this one is $325.
Both processors are 16-core and 32-thread. However, the higher model is distinguished by a 208 MB cache and 200W power consumption.
The 18 percent price reduction has made the older model one of the most attractive offers on the market.
