Whitelist fails during mobile internet restrictions in Moscow

The Russian Ministry of Digital Development, law enforcement agencies, and special services are working to ensure access to whitelisted websites during mobile internet restrictions in Moscow. This was reported to the TASS news agency by ministry representatives, according to Ixbt.com reports.
According to the ministry, a list of socially significant resources is being formed to ensure access in case of mobile internet outages for security reasons. This is intended to maintain access to essential services even under communication restrictions.
It was noted that further updates would be provided once the necessary permissions are obtained for the whitelisted sites to open. However, in practice, it is observed that such a system is not yet fully operational.
Today, mobile internet disruptions were recorded in Moscow. By midday, the Ministry of Digital Development announced that the communication system had been restored, but the planned "whitelist" function did not perform as expected during the restrictions.
