Russian satellites are becoming fully independent from foreign components

According to Roskosmos representatives, the top priority in creating satellites in Russia is the complete abandonment of foreign components. Currently, the industry is transitioning to mass production of satellites based on standardization and deep unification of equipment solutions. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .

To ensure technological sovereignty, the main goal is to create onboard equipment based on a domestic microelectronics base. Roskosmos emphasized that it continues to develop orbital constellations for economic and scientific purposes, including navigation, remote sensing of the Earth, and communication systems.

Attracting private business to the space economy has become active. Also, to ensure safety in near-Earth space, systems for monitoring "space debris," space traffic management, and warnings about dangerous orbital approaches are being improved.

The state corporation also noted that continuing manned flights is a priority. This includes managing the Russian segment of the International Space Station as well as developing systems for the prospective Russian Orbital Station (ROS) and a new lunar program.
