Historic footage: Starship captured in space via Starlink for the first time

The 12th flight of the Starship spacecraft successfully completed its critical payload deployment mission. The vehicle launched 20 Starlink satellite simulators and two modified Starlink satellites specifically adapted for imaging into orbit. This was reported by Ixbt.com reports .

These special satellites, which followed the same suborbital trajectory as Starship, captured and transmitted high-quality images of the spacecraft in space for the first time in history. The images released by SpaceX show the unique appearance of the Starship vessel in weightlessness against the backdrop of Earth.

This event is considered a historic technological moment. SpaceX not only tested the payload deployment system but also obtained unique footage of the ship from space. The satellites were deployed at an altitude of 144 km while the ship was traveling at speeds exceeding 26,000 km/h.

Data from this flight will assist in preparing for future operational missions, including the launch of hundreds of next-generation Starlink satellites. Previously, it was reported that the flight was generally successful, although some technical challenges were observed.
