Xiaomi has announced the launch of its new Mijia Side-by-Side 561L refrigerator. The device's starting price is set at 1,899 yuan (approximately $280), but with government subsidies, it can be purchased for 1,614 yuan ($240). This is reported by Ixbt.com news.
The total capacity of the refrigerator is 561 liters: 351 liters for the cooling compartment and 210 liters for the freezer. The interior features 18 storage zones, wide two-row door shelves, and height-adjustable glass shelves. Thanks to the 90-degree door opening, the unit can be conveniently placed near walls or in corners.
Technically, the Xiaomi Mijia Side-by-Side 561L is equipped with silver ion modules, providing antibacterial protection and odor elimination. It also includes a 360-degree air circulation system, an inverter compressor, a fan, and 4 sensors to monitor temperature fluctuations.
As a smart device, it is fully integrated into the Mijia ecosystem. Users can remotely control the temperature via a touch panel, a mobile app, or the Xiao AI voice assistant. Additionally, the company also unveiled the larger Mijia Refrigerator Pro Folio 620L model priced at $370.
