Panasonic Xealt L3 2026: New e-bike with hydraulic brakes and 90 km range

Panasonic Cycle Tech has officially unveiled its updated Xealt L3 2026 electric bicycle in Japan. This model is equipped with an electric assist system designed for urban commuting. The new model is expected to go on sale in June for approximately $1,600, according to a report by Ixbt.com.
Several significant technical upgrades have been implemented in the new generation. Specifically, new axles installed on the front and rear increase durability and improve handling precision. One of the key innovations is the transition from mechanical brakes to a modern hydraulic disc brake system.
The Xealt L3 2026 is powered by a 12.0 Ah lithium-ion battery. It takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge, providing a range of up to 90 km in eco mode. Panasonic engineers have also fitted new tires specifically optimized for city streets.
The bike weighs approximately 21 kg and is available in two frame sizes (390 and 440 mm). Featuring an 8-speed transmission, this vehicle comes in four different colors. While currently announced only for the Japanese market, it has already attracted the attention of international experts.
