HMD Grand replaces Nokia: 6.9-inch screen and 50 MP selfie camera

HMD, the company that has been producing smartphones under the Nokia brand for several years, is now preparing to introduce its new budget-friendly model, the HMD Grand. According to insider smashx_60, the new smartphone will be equipped with a massive 6.9-inch IPS screen with FHD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset. This processor is essentially an updated version of the Snapdragon 685 model and does not support 5G networks. The smartphone is expected to be available in two colors, and its front camera is housed in a punch-hole cutout in the center of the screen.
The main highlight of the HMD Grand is its cameras: in addition to a 50-megapixel main module and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, the device will feature a 50-megapixel front camera. Such a high-resolution selfie camera is rare for a budget-category smartphone.
Another important aspect is the device's battery life. The smartphone is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Users will also be able to enjoy features such as stereo speakers, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 5.
In terms of memory, the HMD Grand will be offered in a maximum configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. For reference, this insider previously provided accurate information about the HMD Icon Flip 1 and other new feature phones from the company.
