Within the framework of the new partnership program, special attention was paid to expanding the project portfolio with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.

In addition, it was agreed to hold cultural and tourism weeks in Uzbekistan and Kuwait, and to promote the active participation of representatives of the two countries in cultural and humanitarian events in the fields of art, music, cinema, education and sports.

The meeting noted the importance of continuing mutual support within the framework of the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Non-Aligned Movement and other influential structures.

Joint measures to prepare for and hold the Central Asia-Gulf Cooperation Council dialogue summit to be held in Samarkand in May this year were discussed.

The leaders also exchanged views on pressing issues of international and regional importance. At the end of the negotiations, the leaders of the two countries decided to develop and strengthen a comprehensive partnership.
